Draw Near
Based on a 7th century hymn from the Antiphonary of Bangor, this Communion song includes an easy assembly refrain in Latin (Venite, sumite Corpus Christi Domini...) and four choral verses set in textures that vary from unison, to two-part, to SATB, to unison with descant. Appropriate for Communion at any Mass, and especially at liturgies with strong Eucharistic overtones. Easy-to-medium difficulty, with organ accompaniment.
