Statement regarding David Haas

In the spring of 2020, OCP received notice of allegations of sexual misconduct on the part of composer David Haas. We take allegations of this nature seriously, and as such, we have removed products with the following songs from our website:

  • Advent/Christmas Gospel Acclamation © 1986, David Haas. Published by OCP.
  • He is the Lord © 1981, 1982, David Haas. Published by OCP.
  • I Am the Living Bread © 1985, David Haas. Published by OCP.
  • Jesus Come to Us © 1981, David Haas. Published by OCP.
  • To Be Your Bread © 1981, David Haas. Published by OCP.
  • We Will Rise Again © 1985, David Haas. Published by OCP.
  • We Will Sing Again © 1985, David Haas. Published by OCP.
  • Where There is Love © 1985, David Haas. Published by OCP.

Since those songs are included in our already printed 2021 missal program, they will remain on OneLicense.net and OCP.org product pages while those publications are in circulation. However, we pledge to donate the royalty revenue OCP earns from those songs to an anti-sexual violence and survivor support organization.
