Alejandro Mejía is a composer and teacher. He studied philosophy at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and graduated in dogmatic theology and catechetics from the Lateran University in Rome. He has a doctorate in education. Mejía served as director of catechesis at the Instituto Teológico Pastoral of the Episcopal Conference of Latin America (CELAM) and as secretary of the Servicio Radiotelevisivo de la Iglesia en América Latina, also of CELAM. Based in Puebla, Mexico, he continues teaching classes in formation, producing music and writing books on Catholic formation.
