All We Are Belongs to You

Feeley’s gentle setting of Hart’s paraphrase of Psalm 16 answers the question “How can we make a return to the Lord for all his goodness?” with “from morning to evening, all we are, all we do, belongs to God.” Written for SAB and descant, the whole-tone scale in the opening bars and some modulatory twists nod to the early 20th-century impressionists, while still being accessible tonally. A great piece for the Rites of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Orders.
