Suitable for Baptism, confirmation and various RCIA celebrations, “I Will Be Your God” gives a quiet, stirring musical profession of God’s promise of his Godhead to Israel, his promise of the Holy Spirit, and of the cleansing of sins. Written during a particularly difficult time in Gerard’s life, the title song looks to God’s promise, the promise of a day when all will be made new, all will be made whole and God will reign in love. His hope is that “it may provide comfort to those in pain, to those in despair and to those in mourning.”
