In this episode of Music and Mission, Nashville-based musicians Dana Catherine and PJ Anderson perform and discuss some of their new songs. Dana Catherine performs "Maybe," which she wrote with Lloyd Rieves. Written during a time of self-doubt, "Maybe" is a beautiful reminder to listen to God's voice when attempting to understand our own identities. PJ Anderson then performs "Breaker of Chains," which was inspired by the story of the Pharisee Nicodemus in an episode of The Chosen. In the show, Nicodemus was not able to take the leap to follow Jesus — it was a moment of fear and disappointment that PJ resonated with, which led him to contemplate Jesus again as the breaker of chains who sets us free with his love.
