Casey McKinley was born and raised in San Diego, California, where a love for music and the performing arts took root early in life. He pursued both English and music at the University of San Diego, later earning a Master’s in nonprofit leadership and management from the same institution.
Casey has over a decade of ministry leadership experience. He served as music director at a large and dynamic parish in Southern California for more than 10 years. During that time, he began composing original liturgical music that has since reached a national audience through OCP, where his work continues to inspire and uplift congregations across the country.
Casey remains active in music ministry at his local parish and continues to write music that reflects the beauty of faith in a way that is heartfelt, accessible and spiritually rich. His published works can be found in OCP’s Breaking Bread, Heritage Missal and Spirit & Psalm.
At the heart of everything Casey does is a desire to serve others with creativity, care and deep faith.
