Bio
A San Francisco, California, native, Father Fabing is the founder of the Jesuit Institute for Family Life Network, a worldwide network of marriage counseling and family therapy centers. The deep spirituality of his music is the fruit of his many years directing these counseling and spirituality centers. He has also ministered in China for many years, teaching, promoting liturgical music and spreading the Good News of the Gospel.
A gifted composer, Father Fabing has published a number of collections of liturgical music, including Adoramus, Let Me Follow and Your Song of Love. In his Mass for Teresa of Calcutta, he captures Mother Teresa’s spirit after meeting with her 70 times. Father Fabing is also a noted author; his books include Experiencing God in Daily Life: The Habit of Reflection on Love, Joy, Need, Fear, Sorrow, Anger and Real Food: A Spirituality of the Eucharist. His poetry, like that found in Deeper Than You Are, speaks to the heart and mind.
Father Fabing currently lives in Los Altos, California, where he is the director of the 36-Day Program in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius at the Jesuit Retreat Center.
