Bio
Deacon Paul Covino is Director of Campus Ministry at Assumption College, Worcester, Massachusetts. A frequent speaker and workshop leader, he has served various national and regional conferences as liturgy director and master of ceremonies.
Paul has published numerous articles and writes the seasonal suggestions column for Today's Liturgy magazine and Liturgy.com. He is the editor of the Pastoral Press book Celebrating Marriage: Preparing the Roman Catholic Wedding Liturgy, Third Edition, Revised, and a member of the Catholic Common Ground Initiative Committee.
Paul previously served as the director of liturgy for Holy Trinity Parish in Washington, D.C., St. Camillus Parish in Arlington, Massachusetts, the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and the summer session of the Boston College Institute of Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry.
For 29 years, Paul worked with the Georgetown Center for Liturgy, first as associate director and then as a member of the adjunct faculty. He holds a master's in liturgy from the University of Notre Dame.
Paul is married and has four grown sons. He serves as a deacon in the Diocese of Worcester.
